Equine

Equine is an upcoming horse racing and management game.

My main task involved writing theme music for each of the game's 10 playable jockey characters. The characters each have varying backgrounds and nationalities, which was something I wanted to represent in their theme songs. A challenge I faced was trying to represent their different cultural backgrounds in a way that wasn't overly clichéd. How I approached this challenge was by trying to integrate traditional instruments and musical styles from the characters' culture with a more modern Western orchestral style.
